What I love about the wine

J. De Villebois Sauvignon Blanc makes me remember why I love French Sauvignon Blancs so much! French Sauv Blancs, are a little less tart in my opinion, but still offer you flavors of crisp, citrus fruits. My friend bought me this bottle of wine and said you HAVE to blog about this hidden gem. Well, she got me hooked, but then sent me on a hunt to find where it can be bought online. So I did my best to get you as many direct links to what I could find. Wine.com is frequently sold out of most of the J.de Villebois wines. J. de Villebois Touraine Sauvignon Blanc 2022 is under $20, and when it is available it is fantastic.

For a few bucks more, Wine.com frequently does have J. de Villebois Pouilly-Fume 2021. It is between $27- $31 depending on their sales. If you like Sancerre, they do carry J. de Villebois Sancerre 2019 is about $35. Their Sancerre 2021 is about $34. I have yet to try a bottle from this vineyard that I don’t like but for the price of their Sauvignon Blanc you just can’t go wrong. It is a great anytime bottle of wine.

But how does it taste?

J. De Villebois sauv blanc, does a great job on their back label description. White peach is spot on. Imagine a great Sauv Blanc minus the minerally taste. Then infuse it with white peaches and green apple, and I think that is a fair statement of what your taste buds can expect from this bottle of wine. It is clean, refreshing and easy to drink.
