What I love about the wine
Navigator Cabernet Sauvignon has become one of my favorite bottles of wine. Literally everyone I give a glass of this wine to has bought at least one bottle of it for themselves. Several have even bought a case of it and had it shipped before they even left my house. When someone is over and tells me they are a “wine snob” I pull out this bottle. I don’t care if I am being told they only like Caymus, I am still opening this bottle of wine for them. Friends who love big bold cabs, love this bottle of wine. Family members who like easy to drink or sweet reds, love this bottle of wine.
Navigator is full of flavor and so easy to drink yet meaty. It is a bottle of wine I know I better have a few on hand when I open it for guest because they keep asking for more. And for this price, I love it even more. This has become my safe go to bottle for all red wine drinkers. My only complaint is that is frequently sold out. I am trying to find a relationship with a seller that can ship to the majority of the states and keep it in stock because this really is a great bottle of wine.
But how does it taste?
Navigator Cabernet Sauvignon , is bold yet not very acidic and really smooth. It reminds me of a red blend. If you like Prisoner you will enjoy Navigator. It starts out with fruits and spice and then finishes with a smooth vanilla and mild oak.
At times I ask myself if it was sweet but then not really, it isn’t super sweet just that easy to drink. The more it opens up the better this bottle of wine gets, but feel free to just open and drink! It is beautiful both on the nose and the palate.
